about

A lab notebook that got out of hand

Every solve gets written up the same night it lands, in the same shape: what I saw, what smelled wrong, the exploit that worked, and the one line I want to remember next year.

No sponsored tooling, no "simply pop a shell" hand-waving. If a step took three hours of flailing, the flailing is in there too — usually under "the crux", which is where the actual challenge always lives.

The archive is organised by technique rather than by event, because that is how you actually use it at 3am when something looks familiar and you cannot remember why.

New to the archive? The six deep dives on the index are the fullest write-ups — heap poisoning, lattice attacks and a template-engine escape among them.
